Nov. 8, Heroes Welcome. The Chicopee Council on Aging will be celebrating Veteran's Day with a special event titled "Heroes Welcome" at 1 p.m. at the Chicopee Senior Center. Recognition made to the 65th anniversary to the end of World War II and the 60th anniversary to the start of the Korean War. Veterans are encouraged to bring a maximum of two items of military memorabilia to display at the event by 12:30 p.m. day of event. To register call 534-3698.
